Deye Named to S&P Global’s Inaugural Tier 1 Cleantech Companies List

Recently, S&P Global Commodity Insights released the inaugural list of S&P Global Commodity Insights’ Tier 1 Cleantech Companies, naming Ningbo Deye Technology Co., Ltd
. (Stock Code: 605117.SH) as a Tier 1 PV Inverter Supplier.

The list is designed to help cleantech suppliers stand out in a crowded field. It includes a comprehensive set of criteria dimensions that span market presence and cumulative equipment shipments, annual market share, scale, global manufacturing diversification, financial performance, and sustainability factors.

According to S&P Global Commodity Insights:

“In a market crowded with supplier rankings and fragmented scoring systems, the Tier 1 Cleantech Companies List introduces a new standard that is transparent, data-driven, and committed to building long-term credibility.”

Unlike traditional rankings that rely on a single criterion for evaluation, S&P Global has introduced a multi-dimensional and long-term evaluation framework. By incorporating diverse indicators from multiple aspects of the same company, the framework significantly broadens the applicability of the list. As a result, the reference value of the “Tier 1” designation is no longer confined to traditional contexts but extends to the broader and rapidly expanding distributed energy future.

For years, Deye has focused on the global residential and C&I solar PV and energy storage market. Through highly innovative products and marketing strategies, Deye has delivered practical and reliable energy solutions to users in more than 140 countries and regions worldwide. These widely deployed Deye products have helped local communities build dependable distributed energy systems. Beyond reducing energy costs through green value creation, Deye solutions play an even more critical role in providing reliable access to energy for regions that still lack a stable power supply. In doing so, Deye is helping transform the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) — “Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all” — from a vision into a reality for everyday life.
